I don't know how I lived without this. It cuts through rock-hard ice cream like butter, and the trigger pops the scoop out cleanly. The rest is a brilliant touch – no more sticky countertops. Worth every penny.

It scoops well and the trigger works smoothly. However, the handle is a bit short for my large hands, and the tool rest makes it stick out on the counter. Still, it's a solid scoop.

I make my own ice cream, and it's often very hard straight from the freezer. This scoop glides through it and releases the ice cream perfectly. The design is sleek and the grey color looks great in my kitchen.

It works okay on slightly softened ice cream, but for really hard ice cream, I still need to warm it under water. The trigger release is nice, but the scoop is a bit heavy. Overall, a decent tool.
